What a cookie is A cookie is a small text file your browser stores on your device. It is used, for example, to keep you signed in.

Cookies we use Authentication and session cookies: keep you signed in and protect the session. Strictly necessary — without them you cannot sign in. Preference storage: your language and currency choice is kept in your browser's local storage so you do not have to choose again on every visit. Security cookies: protect forms against abuse.

Payments and Stripe-hosted checkout There are no payment cookies and no embedded payment form on Culture State's own pages. When you start a purchase you are taken to a checkout page hosted by Stripe (checkout.stripe.com). Stripe sets its own cookies and similar technologies on that page to complete the payment, prevent fraud and operate the Link payment method, for example to recognise payment details saved with Link. Those cookies are controlled by Stripe as its own controller and are covered by Stripe's own cookie notice. After payment you return to Culture State, and no cookies from the Stripe checkout are carried into our site.

What we do not use We do not use advertising cookies, profiling or third-party tracking tools on the public site. Survey links do not set any cookie that identifies a respondent.

Consent Because only strictly necessary cookies are used on our own pages, no separate cookie consent is requested. If we later introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for consent in advance.

Managing cookies You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies prevents signing in to the service, and blocking cookies required for payment may prevent checkout from working.
