A report is released once at least 4 people have answered. This protects anonymity: with fewer answers, individual views could be recognised. Role-by-role results need 3 managers and 4 employees; a named unit needs 7 answers before it is shown separately.
Fewer than 4 answers? You still get a limited organisation-level view — overall results and written observations, with no role breakdown.
Culture survey questions leaders ask before buying
What do we actually get?
A leadership-ready report: a summary of how the organization is doing, plain-language conclusions for each culture area, where experiences differ between roles and units, and a prioritized list of what to do next with the findings behind each recommendation.
How long does it take?
Participants answer in about 5–10 minutes on any device, with no app and no login. Most organizations run a round in one to two weeks and the report is ready as soon as responses are in.
Can I change plan later?
Yes. You can change plan at any time from your profile. The change takes effect immediately and the difference is prorated for the current billing period — your user, structure and analysis limits update with the plan. Assessments remain unlimited.
What happens if I cancel?
Your workspace stays open on the free plan until the end of the paid period, and assessments and reports you have already created stay available. Organizational data is then kept for the agreed retention period and permanently deleted after it, as described in our privacy policy. You can request deletion earlier at any time.
Is there a commitment?
No. Every plan is billed monthly and can be cancelled from your profile.
Who handles payment and VAT?
Stripe. Stripe acts as merchant of record for supported transactions: it runs the checkout, calculates and collects the applicable VAT or sales tax, issues your invoice and appears on your card statement. Refund and cancellation terms are on our refund policy page.
Does Culture State use AI?
No. Your responses are never sent to an AI model. Every score, finding and recommendation is produced by fixed, published rules and by an interpretation library we have written and reviewed ourselves. If that ever changes, we will say so here before it does.
