Anonymity is structural, not a promise
Culture data is only useful if people answer honestly. That requires a system where individual responses are structurally kept out of everything people see.
We do not evaluate individuals
The platform assesses structures, practices and shared experience — never a named person's performance.
We do not identify employees
Responses are stored without identity and invitation tokens cannot be joined back to answers.
We do not search for guilty parties
The analysis is written to explain, not to accuse. No output attributes a problem to a person.
Individual responses are never exposed
Individual responses are never exposed to organization users or platform administrators through Culture State. Responses are processed server-side, and users receive only anonymity-protected aggregates, findings and reports.
Group-level reporting only
Every score, chart and insight is an aggregate of a respondent group.
Small groups are protected
An organizational report is released only after at least 4 anonymous responses, and a single unit or team is never reported separately before it has 7 responses of its own.
Benchmarking requires consent
Anonymous benchmark participation is opt-in and can be withdrawn at any time.
Automated processing and AI
Culture State does not use AI to process your responses. Results are produced by fixed, published rules and by an interpretation library written and reviewed by us.
- Scores are calculated by fixed, published rules that you can read in the methodology.
- Explanations and recommendations come from a written library, selected by rules — no language model reads your answers.
- No response, comment or organizational data is sent to an AI provider.
- Every finding shows the evidence behind it, so any conclusion can be checked by a human.
- No automated decision about a person is made, and results are never used to evaluate an individual.
GDPR in plain language
- We collect the minimum data needed to produce group-level insight.
- Data is processed and stored inside the EU.
- Retention periods are configurable per organization; organizational data is automatically deleted once a paid agreement ends and the retention window has passed.
- A Data Processing Agreement, records of processing and a sub-processor list are available to every customer.
- Deletion requests are executed and confirmed.
